St. Michael’s is proud to celebrate its 60^th year during the academic year 2022-2023. I hope this site will give visitors a sense of reality of our vibrant and wonderful school, whilst also providing information and updates for our community of pupils, parents and staff.

It gives me great pleasure today to see that God has indeed blessed St. Michael’s Convent High School abundantly.  We have a great Institution passed to us from our predecessors – Our past Heads and staff members who have with their dedication and passion for the school brought it to its present glory. 

We have produced students who have also brought us honour and pride with their achievements, serving as important figures both in the government as well as the private sectors.  We believe in value – added education for our students.  We aim at encouraging all students to be involved in community projects as well as projects which help to conserve our environment. There is still much to be accomplished.  We set our eyes on life – long learning and encourage all teachers and students to look beyond just passing examinations.

This year, being the diamond Jubilee year of our school, I along with my team of teachers have woven together various activities, programmes and competitions for the enthusiastic students of our school; whose achievements and laurels will feature on this site and add colour to the walls of these pages. 

Here at St. Michael’s we have one Vision; that of the all-round development of our students. Besides the importance of achieving our vision, our mission is to continue to produce students who are of noble character, who are knowledgeable, skillful and competitive in all fields.  I challenge each and every individual to commit themselves to achieving both vision and mission and I am  certain with God’s grace and blessings, we will take the school to even greater heights.

As I look back, a few things stand out like beacons illuminating the passing of years – The dedication and sacrifice of the first band of sisters who refused to compromise on values. Another area of focus has been the discovery and nurturing of individual personalities and talents.  Every activity at St. Michael is aimed at encouraging students to develop their inherent strengths and live a fuller & more productive life.

This website then marks a new phase of our school’s on-ward march in being abreast of time and taking the school into the world where our ex-students and teachers will see and keep links with the school community that they were once a part of.
