Dear Friend’s

We live in momentous times.  For St. Michael’s this also marks a milestone in the stride towards educational development and excellence.  In the fifty years that have gone by, the pen and paper were instrumental in aiding communication.

Today, the electronic age gives us the opportunity to reach new heights.  It marks the transition from print to digital with the past captured and the present maintained.   Communication helps builds bridges, helps interaction, exchange of ideas, news, common interests, activities but most of all brings back nostalgic memories of the road we travelled on.   Keeping alive the links with our Alma Mater, it strengthens the bonds of all who were connected with the institution be they students, teachers, benefactors or well-wishers.

The launching of this website therefore becomes imminent and will go a long way in bonding all. When those who once said, “these hard days,” will now get a chance to add the familiar, “……were those good old days.” The website should herald growth and flourish. My hope is that we will be able to weave the special magic of capturing the past and present in creating new friendships, memories and go along and enduring kinship which the school needs to maintain the tradition so dear to every caring institution.
